Driving Directions

Map

From the East
  • Follow I-80 E to east Lincoln, NE.
  • Take exit 409 for US Highway 6 toward Waverly/East Lincoln.
  • Take a left at end of exit onto Cornhusker Hwy./US-6 and drive 2.7 miles west.
  • Take left at light onto N 84th Street and drive south for 1.7 miles.
  • Turn left at light onto Havelock Ave.
  • Turn right into first or second driveways–trailers/campers use 2nd driveway.
  • Follow signs to parking lot for your event.

From the West
  • Follow I-80 W to east of Lincoln, NE.
  • Take exit 409 for US Highway 6 toward Waverly/East Lincoln.
  • Take a left at end of exit onto Cornhusker Hwy./US-6 and drive 2.7 miles west.
  • Take left at light onto N 84th Street and drive south for 1.7 miles.
  • Turn left at light onto Havelock Ave.
  • Turn right into first or second driveway—trailers/campers use second driveway.
  • Follow signs to parking lot for your event.

From the South

COMING SOON—watch for the new South Beltway as a new alternative with an 84th Street north exit that will save you time coming from the South!

  • Get to the new south Lincoln Hwy 2 bypass that connects/is now a shortcut between Hwy 77 & Hwy 2.
  • Take a right off the bypass at Bennet.
    • Take a left off this exit, to go north on what becomes 148th St (paved entire way to SGEC).

  • Travel north, turn left onto Adams St., now going west. (Havelock Ave., next major street north of Adams, is also an option to go west but it’s not paved like Adams St.)

  • Take a right on 84th Street, going north, SGEC is on the right. (If you took Havelock Ave., you will turn left onto 84th St. and SGEC will be on your left.)

From the North
  • Enter Lincoln from the east side (avoid downtown/west side) for example by using Hwy 77.
    • Do NOT take the I-80 exit off Hwy 77 (heavy downtown-bound traffic).
  • From Hwy 77 southbound past I-80 (now aka No. 56th St.) proceed to take a left/go east on Hwy 6/Cornhusker Hwy toward 84th St
  • Take a right/go south on No. 84th St. SGEC is on southeast corner of No. 84th St. and Havelock Ave.

StarTran Bus Service

Ride the StarTran Bus Service Route 49 to Walmart, just south of the Sandhills Global Event Center.

You can walk over from there (It’s a short distance through our grass median, a sidewalk is coming soon).
