Combining Colors - Paint O Rama

The Nebraska Paint Horse show will showcase the beauty, versatility, and talent of both Paint and Pinto horses—known for their distinctive coat patterns and athletic abilities.

Competitors will ride and handle their horses through a variety of classes, including:

Ranch Pleasure – Judging the horse’s smoothness, responsiveness, and ability to perform relaxed, precise movements in a working-ranch style.
Ranch Riding – Highlighting versatility, cadence, and attitude as horses navigate patterns with extended trots, collected lopes, and prompt transitions.
Ranch Reining – Showcasing control and athleticism with spins, sliding stops, and circles reminiscent of ranch work.
Ranch Horsemanship – Focusing on the rider’s ability to effectively communicate and guide the horse through a set pattern.
Western Showmanship – Judging the handler’s presentation and precise control of the horse from the ground, with maneuvers like pivots and backing in hand.
